Qatari Team achieves impressive results at debating championship

The Qatari team achieved impressive results in the preliminary rounds of the fifth International School Debating Championship in Arabic and English, which is organised by the QatarDebate Center under the slogan “Our Earth, Our Refuge”.
The five-day event is held via cyberspace with a wide international participation of debaters, judges and team instructors. Instructor of the national team in the English language, Sheikha Alanoud Al Thani said that the team members made intense efforts before the championship and trained very hard with the aim of also participating in the World Schools Debating Championship next summer, noting that they have now participated in debating rounds in the international championship and achieved surprising initial results.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has achieved provisional revenue collection of Rs3,394 billion during first nine months (July-March) period of the current fiscal year against Rs 3076 billion in the same period of the last financial year, registering a growth of double-digit first time in the current fiscal.
According to FBR’s announcement made here on Wednesday stating that the Board has released the provisional revenue collection figures for the first nine months of the current fiscal year. According to the provisional information, FBR has collected net revenue of Rs3394 billion during the July-March period, which has exceeded the target of Rs3287 billion by more than Rs100 billion. This represents a growth of about 10 percent over the collection of Rs3076 billion during the same period last year.
