Niagara Pride starting virtual Lunch and Learn series The Niagara County group hopes to replace its health fairs with a COVID-friendly way for the LGBTQ community to access resources, information. Niagara Pride is launching a virtual program to help bring resources and information to the local LGBTQ community.  In the past, the group would hold traditional in-person health fairs, but is now turning to online options. On Friday, the center will hold its first Lunch and Learn program via Zoom. Niagara Pride released a schedule of sessions that will be held on the third Friday of each month, through August.

So when Zaky was invited to join the School of Management’s new Nonprofit Board Fellowship (NBF) program, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Once she became part of the NBF program and partnered with Buffalo-based dance school Neglia Ballet Artists for her fellowship, Zaky found a network of people invested in educating and helping the next generation of board members and businesses thrive.

Share this article Share this article NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/  Real-world evidence (RWE) studies can offer comparable insights to randomized controlled trials (RCTs), particularly when the intent is to compare clinically meaningful treatment scenarios using rigorous study design and fit-for-purpose data, according to results from the RCT-DUPLICATE project published today in Circulation. Researchers from Brigham and Women s Hospital (BWH) and Harvard Medical School, in close collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Aetion, reported the findings from 10 RWE studies designed to emulate RCTs for cardiovascular outcomes of antidiabetic or antiplatelet medications. Nine of the 10 RWE studies achieved at least two of three agreement metrics that researchers set at the outset.
