The New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art’s latest exhibition
Sapientia Gloria Corona Est curated by Shauta Marsh and featuring works by Audrey Barcio and Rachel Leah Cohn opens Saturday, May 15 and runs through Saturday, June 26. An opening reception with limited capacity per the University of Southern Indiana’s Covid-19 guidelines will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15. An artist talk will be held at 1 p.m. on the closing day, Saturday, June 26.
Maxwell Mutanda
Creative director Maxwell Mutanda uses multidisciplinary research combined with visual art and architecture to analyse the role of globalisation, climate and technology within the built environment.
Based in Zimbabwe, Mutanda is a creative director at Studio (D) Tale and a design fellow at returnable packaging service, CupClub. Before this he studied Architecture at the Bartlett, and is the 2020 MSc in Sustainable Urban Development Sheehan Scholar at the University of Oxford.
A new study, presented today at the AATS 101st Annual Meeting, finds that AATS Foundation fellowships support success in academic surgery career tracks. The AATS Foundation has two primary grant funding mechanisms: the AATS Foundation Scholarship and the Surgical Investigator Award. The study looked at publications, citations, NIH funding, and leadership position of awardees, among other factors.
