When is Peaky Blinders series six out?
The brains behind
Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight, confirmed in a statement that filming resumed in January 2021, meaning fans can expect to see series six in the near future.
While there s no official release date yet, he previously told
Digital Spy: We were due to start filming at the end of March [2020] until the end of July. If we did start shooting in January, we wouldn t finish until May/June and then it s another six months of editing. Given filming has resumed as planned this year, it s looking likely that it ll be out towards the end of 2021 or early 2022.
In December Sophie confirmed that she had contracted COVID-19 and had been hospitalised as a result, revealing that she had been suffering from quite the feast of festive ailments .

But it turns out the 19th century mansion is haunted by a ghostly DOG and crew have reported hearing barking noises in the halls.

Peaky Blinders have some good news and bad news. The good news is production on the sixth season has now resumed after a lengthy lockdown due to the global health crisis, but the bad news however is it will be the series’ final season.
The news was announced by series creator and writer Steven Knight, who had previously planned for a seventh season of the series. Despite season six now being the final one, Knight promised that the story will continue through other means.

Peaky is back and with a bang,” said Knight. “After the enforced production delay due to the Covid pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher. We believe this will be the best series of all and are sure that our amazing fans will love it. While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.”
As production finally begins on the highly-anticipated sixth season of the
Peaky Blinders, creator Steven Knight has announced that the acclaimed period crime drama series will officially be concluding its run and will no longer return for a seventh season. This announcement comes after Season 5 had made its U.S. debut last October on Netflix.
