Groan pains After being put up this week in an Auckland CBD accommodation unit, 14 floors up, looking out over similarly small units, with many even higher up, I can see why your editorial (NZ Herald, April 9) makes perfect sense.
Indeed, we have a rather sparsely populated nation, where an absolutely unexpected newcomer, called Covid-19, has forced many of us to reinvent ourselves; work from home part-time; all the time or even have a fully remote-controlled business model.

he News on Sunday (TNS): 2021 marks 70 years of Pakistan-China relations. How do you describe this journey? What has made this relationship work?
Ambassador Nong Rong (ANR): China and Pakistan, connected by mountains and rivers, share the same aspiration for peace and development. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan in 1951, the two countries have gone through 70 years of thick and thin hand in hand. audacity. The absolute

What you re looking at is a nebula around 4,900 light-years away in the constellation of Gemini. It s named AFGL 5180, and it s part of a vast molecular cloud complex named Gem OB1.
Such thick molecular clouds are where stars are born, and AFLG 5180 is no exception. It s spectacularly lit from within by a very young, hot star that s violently disturbing the space around it as it grows, carving out vast cavities in the gas cloud.
(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) After seven days of being engulfed under a thick blanket of fog, UAE residents were greeted with overcast skies on Saturday, signalling the start of UAE s most favourite rainy season.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported rains over Ruwais, Umm Al Ashtan, Jebel Dhanna, Baniyas, Zirku Island and Arzanah Island. The NCM has forecast rains for the weekend. It used cloud seeding hashtag as it alerted residents about the rains on social media.
In its five-day forecast, the NCM has predicted rains in some areas, with an increase in temperature.
With an average rainfall of 100mm per year, the UAE is ranked among the water-stressed countries. Its ambitious rain enhancement programme aims to increase the annual precipitation levels to boost groundwater resources.
