An art exhibition that is titled ‘Luminous Nodes’ and which features a collection of paintings done by Aziz Hasan is running at the ArtChowk Gallery until January 30.
Terming the paintings interesting, the statement released by the gallery says that the obvious point is that photography in its resolution and lighting spoils the effect of art, but there is enough detail to objectify the abstract work.
These works of flair, reads the statement, come to the eyes initially as a pedestrian but fast become a remembrance. “A painting needs not age well in its physical spectrum but only adapt to the times regardless of its condition.”
