NEW DELHI: With the market staging a recovery, dozens of stocks have sent out buy signals on the technical charts.
Seventy seven of such stocks looked strong on momentum indicator Moving Average Convergence Divergence or MACD.
The indicator signalled bullish crossovers a sign of bullish undertone on these 77 counters, hinting at possible upsides in the days ahead. The list included Sun Pharma, India Cements JSW Energy, India Cements and Firstsource Solution. These stocks gained 4-5 per cent so far on Thursday.

NEW DELHI: S&P BSE MidCap inde was trading on a negative note at 02:23PM (IST) on Tuesday. Shares of JSW Energy (down 4.99 per cent), Steel Authority of India (down 4.97 per cent), Adani Transmissions (down 4.53 per cent),
Bank of India (down 4.53 per cent) and Vodafone Idea (down 4.47 per cent) were the top losers in the index. While Godrej Industries (up 4.4 per cent), Adani Power (up 3.58 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Financial (up 2.5 per cent), Ajanta Pharma (up 1.81 per cent) and United Breweries (up 1.74 per cent) were among the top gainers. The S&P BSE MidCap index was trading 1.06 per cent down at 20430.31 around 02:23PM.

Neuland Laboratories Ltd rose 8.97% today to trade at Rs 1515.4. The S&P BSE Healthcare index is up 1.07% to quote at 21288.72. The index is down 3.47 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Ajanta Pharma Ltd increased 4.87% and Suven Life Sciences Ltd added 3.85% on the day. The S&P BSE Healthcare index went up 53.29 % over last one year compared to the 21.85% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Neuland Laboratories Ltd has added 38.63% over last one month compared to 3.47% fall in S&P BSE Healthcare index and 3.16% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 2577 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 12371 shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1525 on 03 Feb 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 247.3 on 13 Mar 2020.
Healthcare stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Healthcare index increasing 423.47 points or 2.01% at 21486.76 at 09:48 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Unichem Laboratories Ltd (up 6.83%), Neuland Laboratories Ltd (up 6.59%),Ajanta Pharma Ltd (up 6.53%),Alembic Ltd (up 6.31%),IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (up 5.2%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Wockhardt Ltd (up 4.42%), Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd (up 4.03%), Suven Life Sciences Ltd (up 3.91%), Take Solutions Ltd (up 3.29%), and Granules India Ltd (up 3.22%). On the other hand, Strides Pharma Science Ltd (down 1.6%), Dr Lal Pathlabs Ltd (down 1.03%), and ERIS Lifesciences Ltd (down 0.52%) turned lower.
