BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Reginald Jordan, 37, of Buffalo, has been charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of his six-month-old son, King Jordan, in September 2019.
First responders were called to an apartment on Grote Street in Buffalo on the evening of September 20, 2019. They transported King Jordan to Oishei Children s Hospital, where he later died. Several months later, an autopsy found Jordan had died of shaken baby syndrome.
The Erie County District Attorney s Office says Reginald Jordan was arraigned on Wednesday morning. He is accused of shaking the baby and causing blunt force injuries to the child s head and neck. Jordan is being held without bail and is due back in court on May 27 for motions.

PIERCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio A man has been indicted on a murder charge in connection with the death of an 11-year-old boy who authorities say was shaken as a baby in 2010.
Joshua McClanahan, 35, already has served eight years in prison after pleading guilty to felonious assault in December 2010, Fox 19 reports. McClanahan was accused of shaking the then 1-year-old boy, first telling police that he accidentally hurt the child while play-wrestling.
WCPO Channel 9 reports the child “required constant care” over the next 10 years because of the extent of his injuries. The child underwent more than 20 “extensive medical procedures,” prosecutors tell WCPO, before dying at his home on Nov. 25.

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - A 35-year-old has been indicted for murder after a boyâs death was found to be a result of Shaken Baby Syndrome, according to the Clermont County Sheriffâs Office.
Joshua McClanahan, 35, was indicted for murder Tuesday by a Clermont County Grand Jury, the sheriffâs office says.
Tuesdayâs indictment is a result of an investigation that happened in 2010 when a 1-year-old boy was found to have suffered from Shaken Baby Syndrome.

A Pierce Township man, who pleaded guilty to assaulting a 1-year-old child in 2010, has been indicted on a murder charge Tuesday after the boy, now 11 years old, died of his injuries.
In June 2010, authorities said then-25-year-old Joshua McClanahan assaulted the child by shaking him at a home in Amelia.
