Joyce Kimberly Lewis
WILMINGTON Joyce Kimberly Lewis, 61, went to be with Jesus Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. She was born May 27, 1959, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and was the beloved daughter of Phyllis Cooley Lewis and the late James Andrew Lewis.
In addition to her devoted, loving mother, Phyllis, of Wilmington, Joyce is survived by two sisters, Janet Henry (Greg) of Wilmington and Shelly Russell (Bret) of Boulder Creek, California; special uncle, Roger Cooley of Virginia; aunt, Charlotte Downey of South Carolina; and many cousins.
Joyce was a special angel sent to us from heaven to love and watch over during her time on this earth. She loved her family and the Lord. With her gentle and fun-loving personality, Joyce will be missed by all who knew her.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Socastee area remains the scene of a massive search for a Horry County man who went missing earlier this week.
Mikayla Moskov, spokesperson for the Horry County Police Department, said Community United Effort (CUE), a missing persons organization out of North Carolina, has a large search team out across Socastee Friday aiding in the search for 26-year-old Corey Morrison. That team includes about a dozen search dogs, she added.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) â The Horry County Police Department has called in more help in the search for a missing man.
The State Law Enforcement Division, Department of Natural Resources and CUE, a missing persons organization out of North Carolina, has joined the search for 26-year-old Corey Morrison.

SOUTHEASTERN NC For the first time in months, North Carolina is experiencing a downtick in cases as more than 1 million vaccines roll out in the state’s battle against Covid-19. The combination of less cases and more vaccines administered is the way to overcome this year-long worldwide pandemic, according to scientists and health professionals.
On the County Alert System, 66 North Carolina counties are in the red zone, indicating critical viral spread, while 33 are in the orange, showing substantial spread; six remain in the yellow with significant spread. New Hanover has been downgraded to orange, while Brunswick and Pender remain red.
