Poachers have killed a one-horned rhino in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP) and chopped off its horn. It is the first poaching incident in the world heritage site this year.
The incident came to light on Tuesday when the forest officials found a carcass of a rhino near Xilekhunda beel of Hanuman forest camp under Kohora range of the park.
