UK: Angus Energy announces signing of the Saltfleetby finance facility

Loan Facility, conditional only on the setting of the hedge, regulatory approval of the royalty arrangement by the Oil and Gas Authority ( OGA ) and a handful of administrative provisions, has now been signed between
Angus and
Mercuria Energy Trading and
Aleph Saltfleetby, as the co-Lenders. As previously notified, the Company awaits approval of the
Field Development Plan from the OGA although this is now expected to follow the initial drawdown under the Facility.
The terms of the Loan Facility remain substantially unchanged from those advised in our RNS of 30 November 2020 with changes to the profile, but not amount, of shares issued to Lenders, to be detailed at drawdown, and tighter provisions on change of control.

Angus Energy PLC - UK-focused onshore oil and gas development company - Notes West Sussex County Council s Planning Committee rejects planning application for an extended well test at Balcombe oil field. During a child’s life, a year is an even more significant period of time. On March 2, West Sussex county councillors will decide whether to approve a one-year well test planning application from Angus Energy in Balcombe village. The previous application for a three-year well test was withdrawn when planners recommended a refusal as it was “not in the public interest and would compromise the landscape of the High Weald AONB”. They must again conclude that reducing the time period to one year does nothing to change this. Angus’s own report highlights that there will be “56 two-way trips” of eight HGVs rumbling directly past the village school in an average week, or 16 two-way trips (yes, 32 trips) daily. That’s one every 15 minutes.
