Mexico is about to get a lot of Nickelodeon.
On Wednesday, Karisma Hotels & Resorts announced that it will be opening a Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in June.
The resort will be the first Nickelodeon resort in the country and will have one of Mexico’s largest water parks, according to the announcement. Tickets for the family-friendly resort went on sale starting Wednesday.
The resort has 280 oceanfront swim-up suites with decor inspired by fan-favorite Nickelodeon shows including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Dora the Explorer. Karisma Hotels & Resorts will be opening Mexico’s first Nickelodeon-themed resort this summer.

Karisma Hotels and Resorts will open Mexico’s first Nickelodeon resort this summer.
Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya will make its anticipated debut in June, featuring one of the largest water attractions in Mexico and all ocean-front swim-up suites, accommodating families of five.
The 280 oceanfront swim-up suites will incorporate family-friendly amenities such as two bathrooms in every suite and plenty of space for a family of five. True to the brand, rooms will incorporate playful designs through art pieces pulled from show archives and furnishings inspired by Nickelodeon’s iconic colors and current and past characters, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts has begun taking bookings for the June opening of its new Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya all-inclusive, which will mark the group s first Nickelodeon-branded property in Mexico.
All accommodations at the 280-room, family-friendly resort will offer oceanfront views as well as two bathrooms each. Ground-floor units will feature swim-up pool access, while units on all other floors will have infinity plunge pools on their balconies. It s a smaller family resort, which is going to cater very, very well to what families are expecting post-pandemic, said Marilyn Cairo, vice president of global sales for Premier Worldwide Marketing, the exclusive sales and marketing provider for Karisma. They aren t wanting a big-box resort.
