Students who put effort into learning may leave the CCCTC with the credentials they need for success. Students enrolled in the Precision Machining and Manufacturing program can earn NIMS credentials in Measurement Materials and Safety, Milling, Turning, Turning Between Centers, Surface Grinder, Drill Press, CNC Mill Operations, CNC Mill Programming, CNC Lathe Operations, CNC Lathe Programming, and Job Planning, Benchwork and Layout. Students will also earn the OSHA 10 credentials and forklift certification while enrolled in the program.
The Precision Machining and Manufacturing Program has three excellent articulation agreements for students who chose to further their education. The first agreement is with Kent State University. ATHENS – More than 2,300 students graduated with bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for fall semester 2020. Students included:
. Mariah Blake of Salem graduated with a Master of Business Administration (Accounting Concentration) from OHIO’s College of Business.
. Kylie Gardner of East Liverpool graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from OHIO’s College of Health Sciences and Professions.
. Kendra Hoover of East Palestine graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication majoring in Media Arts and Studies – Integrated Media from OHIO’s Scripps College of Communication.
. Samantha Kibler of Alliance graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Practice from OHIO’s College of Health Sciences and Professions.

Applications are being accepted for the 2021 Columbiana County Buckeye Dairy Booster Scholarship. One to two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to Columbiana County Dairy Industry family members attending an institution of higher learning, depending on the number of applications received. Scholarships are to be applied toward tuition, books, housing, etc.
Applicants must be a member of a Columbiana County family whose primary occupation is directly involved in the Dairy Industry, including but not limited to Dairy Cattle Milk Production, Dairy Cattle Heifer Raising, and Dairy Equipment/Supplies/Supplement Sales (providing Dairy is the primary focus of Sales). Students must prove enrollment, or submit a letter of admission, to a two- or four-year institution of higher learning or graduate school.
