OTAY MESA  A worker was hospitalized Monday after an accident involving a forklift at an equipment sales and rental business in Otay Mesa, authorities said. Few details of how the accident occurred were immediately available, but it happened around 5:30 a.m. at Otay Mesa Sales on Radar Road, near La Media and Otay Mesa roads, according to state and local officials. Firefighters treated a man in his 40s at the scene, then took him to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesperson Mónica Muñoz wrote in an email.
