Drake already has more Billboard Music Awards than anyone else with 27.
Billboard chose Drake for the honor based on his activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and the Billboard 200 albums chart since 2010, as well as his touring revenue and social media activity. He is also nominated in seven categories at this year s show, including Top Artist.
The Billboard Music Awards airs live on Sunday, May 23rd at 8 p.m. on NBC.
