It was a humbling day for Emerald gymnastics coach Sue Fehlhaber as she took the stage in front of her community to claim a 2021 Australia Day Award.
Mrs Fehlhaber was named the Senior Sports/Administrator for the Emerald and Gemfields regions, an award that she never expected to be nominated for.
“[I feel] pretty privileged to be nominated,” she said.
“I’m not sure who it was but it’s humbling to think you’re deserving of that award.”
Mrs Fehlhaber was nominated for her role as head coach at Emerald Gymnastics, a club she’s been part of for more than 30 years.
The agreement, signed by Mr Morrison and LNG exporters Australia Pacific LNG, Queensland Curtis LNG and Gladstone LNG, aims to ensure more gas is offered to the domestic market, more often, and on more competitive terms. It will also aim to secure competitively-priced gas supply for the east coast market at least until 2023. Mr Morrison said cheaper and more reliable energy was central to Australia s economic recovery and the government s JobMaker plan. Gas is critical to our economic recovery and this agreement ensures Australian businesses and families have the gas supply they need at the cheapest possible price, the Prime Minster said.

It will begin with a visit to Quilpie and checking in on graziers Stephen and Annabel Tully, whom he visited in his first trip as prime minister just a week after taking the top job. He will be hitting central, western and northwestern Queensland to inspect how drought-stricken communities have done since that first trip in August 2018, while he is also expected to visit a mine.  Prime Minister Scott Morrison with sheep and cattle graziers Annabel and Stephen Tully and their daughter Eve in August 2018
