Frasers Hospitality has announced three property openings planned for 2021 – one in Malaysia and two in Vietnam – signalling long-term confidence in the region’s hospitality market.
Catering for both overnight and long-staying guests, The Capri by Fraser Bukit Bintang is targeted to open in September with 321 rooms, studios and one-bedroom units, revealed Evelyn Chua, director of sales (global accounts), Frasers Hospitality during the inaugural Great ASEAN Travel Fest 2021 organised by TTG Asia Media.

The Capri by Fraser Bukit Bintang will be the hotel group’s second property in Kuala Lumpur, and will be equipped with meeting rooms, rooftop pools, gym, restaurant, laundry and play room.

Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and Frasers Hospitality UK Raise Awareness of Mental Health with The Burnt Chef Project

Today, UK boutique hotel brands Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, alongside Fraser Suites and Fraser Place properties across the UK, are partnering with The Burnt Chef Project, a non-profit campaign committed to removing the stigma and raising awareness of mental health issues within the hospitality industry. The three brands, operating under Frasers Hospitality s global business, have committed to a range of fundraising initiatives for the project within their properties. All donations made will go directly to help fund mental health training and resource materials, including The BurntChef 24/7 support service and The Burnt Chef Academy, to help open up and normalise conversations around mental health within the UK hospitality industry.

Eu Chin Fen has taken back the top spot at Frasers Hospitality Trust
After losing its chief executive to a senior role with the Singapore government, the manager of SGX-listed Frasers Hospitality Trust has chosen Eu Chin Fen as its new leader, adding to the roster of female bosses heading REITs listed in the city.
Eu took over the trust’s top spot on 10 April after Colin Low served out his last day as chief executive of the twin firms managing the S$2.25 billion ($1.67 billion) trust. Low will become the head of the Singapore Land Authority on 1 September.
