Braden Tracey spoiled what was arguably the Prince George Cougars most consistent effort of the season.
His second goal of the game at 4:36 of overtime gave the Victoria Royals a 3-2 victory against the Cats on Tuesday from the Sandman Centre in Kamloops.
“We had a lot of good chances and a lot of good efforts from many players. It was a good game for us,” said Mark Lamb, Cougars Head Coach and GM.
“I thought that was the best effort out of all the games that we played. There is nothing to be disappointed about with this effort at all, we worked hard and it was just too bad we couldn’t finish it off.”
Brennan’s brilliance not enough as Cougars fall to Giants

For the second game in a row, the Prince George Cougars came out flatter than a pancake.
Despite a stellar 43-save performance from Tyler Brennan, the Cougars were unable to rise to the occasion falling 1-0 in a shootout to the Vancouver Giants in Kamloops on Easter Sunday.
The contest resembled more of a half-court basketball game, where Brennan and his teammates were under siege for 65 consecutive minutes getting outshot 43-14 in the process.
