Parking lot work happening Sunday
ANGOLA â A contractor working for the City of Angola will be sealing the northeast and southwest parking lots at the mound on Sunday June 27.
During this time, the parking lots will be closed to the public.
Vehicles that are left in the parking lot overnight on Saturday will be towed at the ownerâs expense.

ANGOLA â Cahootâs Coffee Cafe will be kicking off its first performance of Angolaâs Got Talent this Saturday with music, magic, dancing and more.
Eight contestants will be performing in the youth category, and nine will be performing in the adult category.

ANGOLA â Colleen McNabb Everage is a busy woman.
A real estate broker, an avid volunteer worker, a homeschooling mother of two and even a private music instructor, Everage is constantly on her toes but enjoys everything she gets involved in.
âI think you can find joy in all things, so find the fun,â she said.
Everage currently works as a broker with Fred Beck & Associates, and she also volunteers as the president of the Downtown Angola Coalition, a non-profit group that seeks to promote and maintain a thriving downtown community. She joined the organization in 2018 before becoming president in 2019.
During her time with the DAC, she has helped with various projects around the city, including the recent Sojourner Truth statue that was unveiled at the Steuben County Courthouse on Sunday. That project started in early 2020 and culminated with a grant application in May 2020. The project received a $40,000 Preserving Women s Legacy grant from the Indiana Office of Comm
ANGOLA â Sheâs a survivor, and sheâs here to tell her story.
Friday, at a luncheon for women put on as part of Womenâs Week by the Downtown Angola Coalition, Michelle Corrao shared her life story about being violently assaulted, shoved in the trunk of her car and her heroic rescue by a Fort Wayne Police Department detective.
She prefaced the talk by warning the crowd that yes, her story is awful and it could be triggering to some and that she would not be offended if anyone had to get up and leave because of it.
