Following months of anticipation, dozens and dozens of pro days, and thousands of virtual meetings, it s officially draft week. Starting on Thursday night, over 200 NFL hopefuls across the country will see their dreams realized as they begin their respective journeys at the highest level of football.

RENTON For a front office that in the past has horded draft picks as though they needed a reality television show intervention, this is a decidedly different NFL draft upcoming for the Seattle Seahawks.

The 2020 season will forever be remembered for the group of breakout stars that took Gators fans on a magical journey that ended just six points shy of the programâs first SEC title in a dozen years.
Prior to last fall, some wondered if the Gators were wasting their time by trying to involve Kadarius Toney in the offense more. He spent his first three seasons wowing with his ability to turn anything into an explosive play and frustrating with his inability to catch the ball within the normal flow of the offense and his tendency to turn bad plays into horrible ones by dancing around in the backfield.

The Russell Wilson rumors hovered over the Seattle Seahawks for most of the offseason.
Now that the potential of Wilson leaving has waned for the moment, they can focus on using their three draft picks from April 30 to May 1.
Seattle needs to be smart with its selections, which means it can’t waste any of its picks.
The Seahawks front office should have a list of needs, including cornerback and defensive end.
With those defensive needs at the forefront of the discussion, there should be plenty of prospects the Seahawks avoid because they need to get the best out of their selections, starting in the second round.
