Town Switch to 3-5-2 Against Canaries
Sunday, 18th Feb 2018 11:40
Town boss Mick McCarthy has switched his side to a 3-5-2 formation for today’s derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road with Adam Webster joining skipper Luke Chambers and Cameron Carter-Vickers at the back.
Dominic Iorfa comes in for Jordan Spence in the right wing-back role as McCarthy eschews his usual 4-3-2-1 system with Jonas Knudsen on the left.
In midfield, Stephen Gleeson is part of a three-man midfield with Cole Skuse and Callum Connolly with Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn up front.
Spence, Bersant Celina and Grant Ward drop to the bench alongside David McGoldrick, back after his knee injury. Sub keeper Michael Crowe was among the subs having got over the illness which made him a pre-match doubt.
