Thursday
1:14 a.m. A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported hearing an aggressive verbal confrontation between two individuals outside a nearby apartment complex. The caller reported hearing a substantial amount of screaming and yelling, and said that both people sounded intoxicated.
3:48 a.m. A caller at Berryman and South Auburn streets reported hearing a woman screaming for help. The caller did not see the woman as it was dark, and said that the woman later stopped screaming and was now crying.
9 a.m. A caller from a mental health clinic at Brunswick Road and Sutton Way reported that a man was threatening to stab his housemates. The subject making the threats later left the institution on foot and was seen heading toward Sutton Way.
Tuesday
2:20 p.m. A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a dog that had been left in a car with the windows rolled up for over an hour. The caller said that the dog appeared to be in distress.
5:24 p.m. A caller from a business at the 100 block of West Empire Street reported a man who was being belligerent and refusing to leave when asked to do so. The man had apparently thrown water in another customer’s face.
6:37 p.m. A caller from a residence on the 300 block of Sutton Way reported physical abuse to two juveniles. The caller said that the boyfriend of the mother of the two children had kicked a female juvenile. It was unclear what else may have occurred. The father of the children later called police and told them not to come, as the two juveniles were not in any danger.

6:35 p.m. A caller from Memorial Park on the 400 block of Central Avenue reported a physical altercation involving two juveniles, one of whom was visibly bleeding.
7:17 p.m. A caller from a business on the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man who was apparently cursing and yelling at staff and customers. The man was also refusing to leave when asked to do so. He was described as an older white male with gray hair, a gray beard, wearing a baseball cap and a gray T-shirt.
11:39 p.m. A caller from a business on the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a man behaving suspiciously in a car outside of the store. Apparently, the man had been sitting outside the business in his car for over two hours, and then threatened to beat up a staff member when he was asked to leave.
GRASS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT
1:06 p.m. A woman calling from a residence on Leduc Street reported that her mother was on her property against her will and was stealing property. The woman’s mother was later contacted and arrested by police for multiple charges, including a previous warrant.
3:26 p.m. A caller from Ventana Ridge Place reported that they believe someone tried to break into a vacant residence nearby.
7:22 p.m. A caller from Celesta Drive reported a large number of cars showing up at a residence that the caller claimed is a known drug house. The caller said that general activity around the house has been steadily increasing lately.
GRASS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT
1:31 p.m. A caller near a business on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported that someone had pulled a knife on them. The caller was upset that apparently police who initially responded to the incident had not arrested the other individual.
2:48 p.m. A caller from the 300 block of Cambridge Court reported the theft of of five solar panels. It was unclear whether the solar panels had been stolen from the caller’s residence or from somewhere else.
4:20 p.m. A caller from a business on the 600 block of Freeman Lane requested police assistance due to what the caller characterized as ongoing harassment by the business’ private security detail.
