Judas Priest has just rolled out the rescheduled dates for its "50 Heavy Metal Years Tour." The trek, which now includes an additional 17 cities added to the itinerary, will feature Sabaton serving as the openers on most of the dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 11th at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com. Priest is set to hit the road on September 8th at Reading, Pennsylvania's Santander Arena, with the tour winding down on November 5th at Hamilton, Ontario's First Ontario Centre. Frontman Rob Halford said in a statement announcing the new dates: "Defending the heavy metal faith for fifty years, the PRIEST is back!" Guitarist Glenn Tipton added: "Time to don the leather and studs and roll out the PRIEST machine celebrating our 50 Heavy Metal Years!!" A little less than two months ago, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott held a hastily called press conference outside an emergency shelter in San Antonio, where he delivered a blistering indictment of the federal government’s failure to properly care for the migrant children held there. “This facility,” Abbott said, “is a health and safety nightmare.” He called for the Freeman Coliseum shelter to be shut down immediately, and for the children housed inside to be moved to other federally operated facilities, presumably those run by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, where, Abbott said, “the federal government has the space, personnel and resources to ensure their safety.”

SAN ANTONIO – Christian Nodal, who was recently named the No. 1 regional Mexican solo artist of all time on Apple Music, will be performing in San Antonio in November as part of his “Botella Tras Botella” tour.
An announcement from Live Nation says the singer, and guest performer Gera MX, will play at the Freeman Coliseum on November 24. The Freeman Coliseum is located at 3201 E. Houston Street.
