DAPHNE – Bayside Academy junior Brody Swindle was selected by the Mobile Optimist Club as Pitcher of the Week for his no-hitter against the Foley Lions. The Admiral hurler along with Bayside coach Matt Limbaugh, attended the Mobile Optimist Club’s luncheon on Wednesday, March 3, to accept this recognition.
During the game against Foley, Swindle struck out 15 and walked three on 94 pitches for the complete game shutout. He was 3-for-3 with a run and RBI on a double and triple at the plate for Bayside.
Bayside Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in grades PK–12.
