A teen appeared in Court of Queen’s Bench on Friday, April 23, to be sentenced for her role in the murder of 36-year-old Fazal Rehman in October of 2017.
The teen, who cannot be identified under the provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with accessory after the fact of murder and attempting obstruction of justice on June 5 of 2017. These charges were later upgraded to murder. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder in January of this year.
Fazal Rehman died at the hands of Dylan Howard on October 16, 2017. Rehman was shot and stabbed before he and his car were doused with a mixture of gasoline and diesel, and set afire in a rural area near the Village of Morrin. Howard pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 25 years.

A man was killed and twelve others sustained gunshot wounds in attempted muggings in different areas of Karachi over the weekend, according to police and rescue officials.
Osama, 28, was shot dead by muggers on Saturday when he refused to hand them over the key of his car in the jurisdiction of Sharifabad police station.

Peshawar Police arrested a gang of four robbers on Tuesday who were infamous for committing crimes by dressing up as policemen.
The recovered items during the raid included cash, jewels, mobile phones, weapons and uniforms of police personnel.
SP Saddar division Waqar Ahmed, while addressing a press conference in connection with the operation, said that the armed gang broke into the house of Qari Abid Ali and looted Rs700,000 in cash, 900 Saudi riyals, gold and valuable mobile phones.
Sarband police registered a case on Qari Ali’s complaint and CCPO Peshawar Abbas Ahsan constituted a special team to nab the culprits.
