After a year battered by the COVID-19 pandemic, hotels in Arizona are starting to hire once again, as more and more people are now travelling, especially to Arizona.
PHOENIX - Now that more and more people are able to get vaccinated against COVID-19, some are feeling comfortable to travel once again, and travelers in the U.S. are choosing Arizona as one of the top destinations.
To keep up with demand, many resorts in the Valley are hiring. According to the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, there are more than 11,000 openings in the hospitality industry in the Greater Phoenix Area.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ â In an effort to engage more with the local community, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is opening a brick-and-mortar retail store in the Scottsdale Quarter shopping center.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the AAA Five Diamond resort to rely more on local leisure customers instead of events and group business, leadership at the Princess decided it had to connect even more with that base.
âDuring times like these it is important to get creative,â said Teresa Thompson, the director of retail and resort experience at the Princess. âSo many of our local guests are already at the Quarter, so why not connect with them there.â

The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, the five-star boutique hotel at the Phoenician resort, was the top-rated Arizona property. It ranked 75th in the nation, according to the report. The Phoenician ranked fourth in Arizona. according to U.S. News.
Rounding out the top five: Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa was ranked second, followed by Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess rounded out the top five hotels in Arizona.
