FSU officials address allegations of voter suppression Caroline Lewis Amid allegations of voter suppression, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, the former Supervisor of Elections and Director of Student Engagement have come forward with statements addressing the issues that occurred with the voting system during last week’s SGA election.  Griffin Leckie, who ran for Vice President under the Progress party, listed a number of concerns with the voting distribution and ballot systems which he believed amounted to voter suppression.  Leckie alleged that the ballot was sent out a day early in a mass email announcing that it was Election Day and that the email wasn’t sent out on the actual day of the election.
