On Tuesday, Fiesta San Antonio officials dropped the schedule for this year’s events, which were pushed back to June 17-27. Fiesta didn’t take place in 2020 due to the uncertainty and threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was delayed until the summer this year in order to give locals more time to get vaccinated.

Though some notable events have decided to skip this year s Fiesta, many of them will take place from June 17-27. Last year, San Antonio s biggest party was canceled for the first time since World War II in response to the pandemic. This year, Fiesta was moved from April to June after the commission consulted with medical experts.

On Tuesday, the official schedule was released online. Starting on June 17, nearly 50 of the 115+ Fiesta events will commence after the pandemic put everything on hold. Organizers said Fiesta will still be the great event that represents San Antonio’s culture, heritage and passion for giving back.
