JM Yosures of Taguig City was named the grand champion of “Tawag ng Tanghalan’s” fourth year on “It’s Showtime” after he garnered the highest total combined score from the judges and viewers’ text votes in the competition’s worldwide-trending grand finals on Saturday (February 6).
An engineering graduate, JM nabbed a total combined score of 89% in the final round and beat out his contenders Rachell Laylo (77.6%) and Ayegee Paredes (73.1%).
As the grand champion, JM won P1 million, a brand new house and lot from Lessandra worth P2 million, a recording contract with Star Music, a management contract with Star Magic, and a special trophy made by renowned Filipino artist Toym Imao.

The long wait is over for the fans of MNL48 as the group finally reveals its Third Generation members, their rankings, as well as its new Senbatsu and Center Girl in its Third General Election happening on “It’s Showtime” and “It’s Showtime Online Universe” on the first three Saturdays of February.
The three-day event kicks off this Saturday (February 6) with a video announcement of the group’s new Top 48, who will revealed in no particular order on “It’s Showtime Online Universe’s” YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Fans should also look forward to the announcement of members ranked 48 to 17, which will be streamed live the next Saturday (February 13) on “It’s Showtime Online Universe” as well.

ABS-CBN has announced the appointment of Aldrin M. Cerrado as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ABS-CBN Global Ltd., which oversees all of ABS-CBN’s international subsidiaries and manages its global flagship brand, The Filipino Channel (TFC).
Cerrado succeeds Olivia De Jesus who has retired from the company effective January 31, 2021. Prior to this appointment, Cerrado served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Compliance Officer of ABS-CBN Corporation and was immediate past CFO of ABS-CBN Global.
In his capacity as ABS-CBN Global COO, Cerrado will provide the vision and leadership in steering and growing the business in a highly challenging global economic environment and in fast-evolving regional Filipino markets overseas.
