The Bishop of Killaloe, meanwhile, says further clarity is needed on whether a pod system will be in place to allow more people attend religious ceremonies in larger Churches.
Confirmations and Communions will be deferred until at least July, but up to fifty people will be able to go to mass for the first time since Christmas Day on May 10th and 50 people will be allowed to attend wedding and funeral services.
Bishop Fintan Monahan says while he’s “over the moon” with the initial annoucement on the easing of restricions, he’s disappointed that some dates haven’t been confirmed.
