The Fiji National Rugby League has welcomed the announcement that the World Cup will go ahead as scheduled from October in England.
Acting Chief Executive Don Natabe says now rugby league fans in Fiji and around the world can look forward to a vibrant event in October.
Natabe says they will continue to advance their preparations, to assemble their best available players to represent Fiji to the World Cup.
Some of the players that are expected to feature for Fiji are Viliame Kikau, Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tui Kamikamica, Mikaele Ravalawa and Brayden Wiliame.
