Yesterday, it urged members of the public, particularly those who attended the Nasereci church service in Nadi at 10.30am on Sunday, April 18 to urgently contact the nearest health team or call the 158 helpline. The same call has been made to anyone who travelled from Viti Levu to any of the outer islands, including Vanua Levu from Monday, April 19. Ministry permanent secretary Dr James Fong said the urgent plea was part of their extensive tracing efforts. Dr Fong said in yesterday’s COVID-19 press briefing that they were tracking the movements of the family of the case in Makoi.
