This morning Senior officials of the Fijian Government briefed the United Nations (UN), Diplomatic Missions and International Agencies based in Suva of the current situational report, updates from the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), operational focus, and the Fijian Government’s assessment of the needs and priorities.
The meeting held at the Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office was chaired by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister, Immigration and Sugar Industry and Acting Permanent Secretary Foreign Affairs, Mr Yogesh Jitendra Karan.
