One of Ipswich s best-loved and most historic schools has created a fascinating record of its proud 80-year history.
Copleston High School assembled the array of material - including original plans of the school in 1939, sporting records and items donated by former staff and students - as part of its alumni archives.
Copleston has a long history of teaching generations of students. Here, a careers exhibition takes place in July 1988
These Government Services in DC Will Be Open on Memorial Day 2021
Here are this Memorial Day’s temporary modifications to DC government services, according to Mayor
DC Emergency Operations Center and Joint Information Center will be operational.
The following walk-up COVID-19 vaccination sites will be open:

Rosedale Recreation Center (Pfizer) (Ages 12+) (9pm-1pm)
Access to Emergency Shelter
All low-barrier shelters will remain open on Monday, May 31. Families and individuals seeking access to homeless services should call the DC Shelter Hotline at (202) 399-7093 or 311 at any time of the day or night.

The mother of murdered Ipswich man Joe Pooley, whose body was found in the River Gipping, has described her son s killers as “bullies”.
In a moving victim statement read to Ipswich Crown Court today Joe’s mother Samantha Nicholls described 22-year-old Joe, who was autistic and had learning difficulties, as vulnerable and desperate for friends.
Addressing his killers directly across the courtroom she accused them of being “bullies” and said they had robbed her of a future with her son and replaced it with a “funeral and an urn containing his ashes .
