Jacksonville s Tedeschi Trucks will open a brief summer tour with two limited-capacity shows at Daily s Place.
The band, led by singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi and guitarist Derek Trucks of Jacksonville, will play at Daily s on June 11 and 12. The shows will be played with just part of the 12-piece band that usually goes on the road. On any given night, there will be between four and seven musicians on the stage, with the lineup varying from night to night. The shows are being billed as Tedeschi Trucks, rather than Tedeschi Trucks Band as a nod to the band members who won t be able to make it.

Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks will hit the road this summer with various members of the Tedeschi Trucks Band for a series of socially distanced “Fireside Live” concerts. Billed as Tedeschi Trucks, the group will perform in various configurations ranging from between four and seven musicians at each of the 20 limited-capacity shows in June and July with more dates to be announced.
“Fireside Live” takes its name from the “Fireside Sessions” livestream series held in February and March. The run begins at Daily’s Place Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida on June 11 and 12. From there, Tedeschi Trucks plays Huntsville, Alabama on June 18; Murfreesboro, Tennessee on June 19 and 20; North Charleston, South Carolina on June 24 and 25 and Cayce, South Carolina on June 26.

The summer concert season is heating up in Central New York.
Tedeschi Trucks Band announced “Fireside LIVE,” a series of three socially distanced concerts at the new Apple Valley Park in LaFayette, N.Y., on July 9, 10, and 11. Band leaders Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will perform with varying members of TTB each night with the total band configuration ranging between four and seven musicians; the modified lineup will be known as “Tedeschi Trucks” due to band members unable to join the tour due to challenges from the coronavirus pandemic.
