These funds will be used to support the efforts of Addison Community Action Food Shelf and NorthWest Family Foods to improve food access and support advocacy and educational efforts. NorthWest Family Foods (with one main site in St. Albans, three satellite sites in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties, and Food Shelf on Wheels in Grand Isle County) and Addison Community Action Food Shelf respectively serve approximately 6,000 and 1,000 households annually.  Approximately 4,450 families are food insecure in Franklin County, 590 in Grand Isle County, and 3,500 in Addison County.
