President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin issued a decree on conferring the Order of Alexander Nevsky upon Gurragchaa Jugderdemid, a national of Mongolia and President of Mongolia-Russia Friendship Society, in recognition of his merit in the development of Comprehensive Partnership between Mongolia and Russia.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of partnership between Mongolia and the World Bank, “Making History Together” a photo contest has been announced between March 15 and April 15.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The daily COVID-19 press briefing by
the Ministry of Health for March 15 reported that in the past 24
hours 9410 people were tested at the laboratories nationwide and 122 new
coronavirus cases were confirmed.
In specific, 118 cases have been detected in Ulaanbaatar,
two cases in Shiluustei soum of Zavkhan aimag, one in Zuun Mod soum of Tuv
aimag as well as the rest – one was a passenger who arrived on a charter flight
from Nur-Sultan.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Mongolia
now has reached 4,083, of which 3551 are locally acquired infections. Out of the
country’s total confirmed cases, 3203 have been registered in the capital city of

spring session of 2021 today.
In his opening speech,
Speaker of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar stressed that the package law on Courts
was the major legal document approved by the State Great Hural in the autumn
session of 2020 which aimed at reviving the amendments to the Constitution and
ensuring demand for social justice. He noted that when the law came into
force on January 1, the scandal surrounding the names of some court officials

/MONTSAME/ Today, on March 15, President of Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) N.Tuvshinbayar met with Governor of the Capital City D.Sumiyabazar,
exchanging views on issues related to hosting the 2
nd East Asian Youth Games in Ulaanbaatar city in 2023.
According
to an official request by the MNOC, Governor of the Capital City D.Sumiyabazar has
been appointed as the President of Organizing Committee of the 2023 Ulaanbaatar
East Asian Youth Games.
A tripartite
agreement was signed by the MNOC, Municipality of Ulaanbaatar City and East Asian
Olympic Committee on July 29, 2017 in Taichung, Taiwan, officially agreeing to
host the second edition of the East Asian Youth Games in Ulaanbaatar, the
