Login to follow Hundreds of people attended the 2021 Santos GLNG Mayor s Charity Ball on Saturday night to support a great cause. The event brings the community together to raise funds for local community beneficiaries. This year s beneficiaries included Gladstone Mindcare, Nhulundu Health Service, Roseberry Queensland and Zonta Club of Gladstone. Guests enjoyed the food and drinks under a starry night sky, this year s theme for the ball. Held biennially, the Mayor s Charity Ball has raised nearly $400,000 for local charities and organisations since 2013.

Designed around the theme âStarry Nightâ, Mayor Burnett said this yearâs Santos GLNG Mayorâs Charity Ball was set to be a night to remember.
âThis is a fantastic event that brings the community together to experience a gala evening of food, wine, music and dancing, all the while fundraising for local charities,â Cr Burnett said.
âThere will be entertainment from one of Brisbaneâs top cover groups Hamilton Band, who will be supported by local musicians, while attendees can enjoy a three-course meal, silent auctions, live auctions and much more.
âMost importantly, the night is all about raising vital funds for four very worthy local organisations, who were chosen after consultation with the Mayorâs Ball committee.â
