Honor 50 To Launch Its Upcoming Devices With Pre-Installed Google Apps
KEY POINTS
The upcoming Honor 50 series will be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset
Honor is yet to release a rollout date for the Honor 50 series
Almost two years after Google cut Huawei and its sub-brand Honor from some updates to the Android operating system, the latter has now joined hands with the search engine giant again. Honor has formally announced that it will launch its next line of devices with pre-installed Google applications.
Honor lost its access to the Android license, along with Huawei, in 2019, Gizmochina reported. On May 21, the Honor Germany Twitter account posted the update in German, while replying to a customer who asked if the Honor 50 series will finally launch with Google Mobile Services. Reports suggest that as the update talks about the Honor 50 are in German, the upcoming devices will mostly launch in Germany.
