The Pentagon on Thursday announced the formation of a center to analyze drone strikes and work on how best to avoid civilian casualties, following the killing of 10 people in Kabul.
The Biden administration in recent weeks has moved out of Afghanistan nearly four dozen relatives of the 10 civilians killed in a U.S. drone strike last year during the withdrawal from the country.
Nearly a year after the strike that killed 10 civilians, more than 30 people the Biden administration pledged to help resettle in the U.S. are still trying to leave the country.
