A VERY SOMBER AND SACRED TRADITION WAS CARRIED OUT AT LOUISVILLE ZACHARY TAYLOR NATIONAL CEMETERY THIS EVENING BOY SCOUT TROOPS FROM OUR AREA PLAY SMALL AMERICAN FLAGS ON THE GRAVE SITES OF OUR CHERISHED VETERANS. THE GROUPS HERE ARE FROM TROOPS NUMBER 317 AND 319 SILAS BROWN WAS VERY METHODICAL IN HIS PLACING OF THE FLAGS MAKING SURE TO PAUSE AT EACH GRAVE AND READ THE NAME ALOUD. HE TOLD ME IT’S IMPORTANT TO HIM PERSONALLY TO DO THIS. IT’S HARD TO DESCRIBE LIKE I FEEL THANKFUL AND SAD THAT THESE MEN DIED FOR US, BUT I WOULD ONLY GIVE BACK FOR WHAT FOR WHAT THEY’VE DONE AND THIS IS THE LEAST I CAN DO. THERE ARE 11,000 VETERANS BURIED ON THIS HALLOWED GROUND EACH DESERVING OF HONOR ON THIS MEMORIAL DAY. SO AS YO
