ACCRA, GHANA, May 18, 2023 It s not everyday that drummers and dancers parade along the banks of the Volta River, but then again it s not everyday that someone finishes the longest recorded swim in Ghanaian history.
Ghanaian-British agribusiness entrepreneur and athlete Yvette Tetteh became the first person to swim across the Volta River from Buipe to Ada, completing the longest documented swim in Ghanaian history, covering 450 kilometers.
