One of South Africa s best value for money thoroughbred auctions, the Cape Yearling Sale has unleashed a string of top prospects over the years, with the list of high-class thoroughbreds offered for sale at this auction a lengthy one.
The Group 1 Daily News 2000-winning Surcharge, who would go on to win the Group 1 Kennedy Cantala in Australia under the name of Yulong Prince, heads the list of recent star thoroughbreds who have been offered for sale at previous renewals of the Cape Sale.
