It is a very important part of oaklands economy. And today, the city in the county wanted to reassure the public that they are working on addressing the issues on monday morning, oakland mayor sheng thao along with the Oakland Police department, the california Highway Patrol, the Alameda County Sheriffs Office and Community Leaders gathered to reassure the public, but they are working on addressing problems along the hegenberger corridor. This is a key gateway to oakland and its a vital element to our citys economic engine. The city says that auto burglaries, robberies and larceny along hegenberger have actually decreased over the last year, but admit that theres still a lot of work to do to restore public confidence.
