sense in an economy or so much wealth is being generated every single day. the fact that we still have not raised the minimum wage in this country is just an indication of how difficult it has been for working people in america. and that has to change. i think we are seeing workers courageously coming together and supporting each other across sectors. yorktown to continue to see that. i have list of criminal left, but what we keep hearing from union members, strikes are supposed to be disruptive. talk about the impact across the country and what it is a critical part of the fight. we always say that domestic work is the work that makes a whole other work possible. all of these workers who are coming forward are demonstrating, our dramatizing effect that their work makes the american economy possible. and they deserve fairness and respect and dignity.
first, i ask for your support. i believe in my heart that we can turn this country around. what we did once we will do again. but we had not long ago, we will have once more. but even better. secondly, i ask you to remember who we are. remember what we ve done. a careful study of american history shows every time the american people have been called upon to do hard things, the american people have always risen to the challenge. we crossed the delaware river. we weathered the terrible winter at valley forge. we faced yorktown, made an empire wave a white flag. we wrote a constitution that changed the course of history. we held the hills of gettysburg.
