The president says its an effort to prevent a genocide. Its happening in the sinjar mountains in the northwestern area of iraq. They were forced into the area as the takeover of iraqi resources continues to expand. Tara mergener reports from washington. Shes back inside Texas Health Presbyterian hospital in isolation, now fighting the deadly disease herself. It is deeply concerning this infection occurred. Reporter a review from the centers for Disease Control blames a breach in hospital protocol for the infection. The woman had extensive contact with Thomas Eric Duncan before his death, including when he was placed on dialysis and a ventilator as his condition got worse and he became more infectious. Officials say she wore a protective suit, but experts warn problems can occur after treatment, when that suit is removed. The midwest is already bracing for the impact, getting out snowplows and salt, for what may be the first serious snowfall of the season.
