February 16, 2021 Azlan Othman Pro-competition laws and regulations can contribute to the efficient functioning of the logistics sector in the Sultanate, in support of the country’s efforts to diversify the economy towards a sustainable economic growth in the long-run, said the Competition Commission of Brunei Darussalam (CCBD) in a press statement yesterday. The CCBD and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) launched two reports on competition assessment of the logistics sector – Competition Assessment Reviews of Logistics Sector in Brunei Darussalam and Competitive Neutrality Reviews of Small Package Delivery Services in Brunei Darussalam – as the outcome of an independent study by the OECD as part of the ASEAN Competition Action Plan 2016-2025.

February 3, 2021 Izah Azahari A total of 119 students from higher education institutions attended an outreach programme on the National Youth Strategy and Policy (DBNS) 2020-2035 conducted by the DBNS Youth Advisory Group (YAG) in partnership with the Brunei Youth Council at the Banquet Hall of the Legislative Council Building yesterday. The event comprising a briefing on the DBNS and its functions, a Youth Snapshot, as well as discussions among the participants, followed by a dialogue with Legislative Council members Yang Berhormat Siti Rozaimeriyanty binti Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman, Yang Berhormat Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii and Yang Berhormat Khairunnisa binti Haji Ash’ari.
