Buhari Should be Open to Clamour for Restructuring, Say NEF, Ndigbo

Adedayo Akinwale in Abuja The leaders of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) and Ohanaeze Ndigbo have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to be more open to the legitimate clamour of Nigerians for more substantive changes in the structures of the country. The two socio-political groups made the call in a communique issued yesterday and jointly signed by Amb. Yahaya Kwande on behalf of NEF and as the Co-Chairman and Prof. George Obiozor, President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide. It said, “The meeting noted the need to improve the capacities of security agencies to deal with threats to the country. It noted the need for President Buhari to be more open to the legitimate clamour of Nigerians for more substantive changes in the structures of our country.”
