RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A grand jury unanimously ruled that the officers involved in the deadly shooting of an 18-year-old in January were justified in their actions. And now, with the criminal investigation concluded, the dash-cam footage has been released more than a month after the shooting.
The decision, released Friday, Feb. 26, said the multi-jurisdiction jury convened on Feb. 24 to look at the evidence in the Jan. 9 shooting death of Xzavier Hill by Virginia State Troopers.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A protest calling for the release of body camera footage in two cases involving police ended shortly after a car hit a pedestrian.
Charlottesville Police and first responders came to the intersection of West Main St. and 10th Street NW at around 5:00 p.m. after a woman, who was not a protester, was hit by a car. She was taken to UVA Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
