Golden Arrows have invited free agent Xolani Ndlovu for an assessment as they continue to look to beef up their squad.
The 25-year-old right-winger from KwaZulu-Natal was released by Black Leopards at the beginning of the 2020/21 season and has been clubless ever since.
In March last year when still at Leopards, Ndlovu caused quite a stir when he refused to take off his traditional necklace called Incweba during a PSL match against neighbours Polokwane City.
The necklace ended up being bandaged so the match could continue.
According to a very reliable source, Ndlovu might be playing Premiership football again before the end of the current campaign.

WARRIORS coach Zdravko Logarušić has made a surprise inclusion of Tawanda Nyamandwe into his training squad, as the chopping and changing of the team continues.
Twenty-eight players had initially been called into camp to prepare for the African Nations Championships (Chan) final early next month.
The tournament, runs from January 16 to February 7 in Cameroon.
Logarušić initially requested his assistants Lloyd Chitembwe and Tonderai Ndiraya to come up with the squad for camp since he did not watch any local league games last year.
But after watching the squad in friendly matches against local clubs in the past few days, the Croat feels there were some deserving players that were left out.
Zifa Discuss Covid-19 Crisis
THE ZIFA board yesterday discussed the impact of the COVID-19 crisis that has hit the Warriors training camp for the CHAN tournament after almost half the members tested positive for coronavirus this week.
The calamity was included on the agenda yesterday when ZIFA president Felton Kamambo called his board members to look into some of the pressing matters ahead of the association’s long-awaited Annual General Meeting set for Harare today.
The association will also be hoping that there will be no new positive cases when players and officials go for a second round of tests today.
